just put another order in from TFT. i went with the Tsuei Luan again which ive had before and liked..and also the Hua Gang which ive never had. Along with another sampler set of dyl and the milk oolongs..

Just received my order from TFT the other day. The Tsuei Lan is milder than my last tasting which may have been a winter picking. The tea that really impressed me and is completely different than my last purchase in the Dong Ding Ming Xiang which is much greener and really delicious this time. Huge leaves giving a creamy, cereal flavor with hints of fruit, filling my mouth with lingering aftertaste. Many, many, infusions. The last time I bought their Dong Ding it was too roasted for my taste. I also bought some Wu Ling which I haven't tried as yet.

I don't care if they are more expensive. Last thing I want to is to damage my heart because of tea. Insane I am still uner the effects of that "bomb." Actually, I have been unsettled for the whole weekend. That alishan came in a red bag...I should have been suspicious about it. I boiled my pot for 1/2 h to get rid of any of the oolong smell and possible residue hooked onto the clay and it still has a strong fiery odour. I will give it another cleanse tonight. I have never encountered this sort of tea in my entire life.

Are those teas collected during the spring, which brings them closer to the green tea family. Thanks.

I bet mine was processed during summer, and Taiwanese summers can be scorching.

As far as I know, TFT has only Spring and Winter teas. I doubt it was the tea that made you feel like this.

It's Qi has got way to much fire and messed up with mine big time to the point that I was starting to have mental disturbances as I'm an advanced meditator and internal martial artist.

Just out of curiosity, may I ask what "internal martial arts" are? I'm having a lot of fun guessing on my own, but it's probably better if you just tell me.

You have to ask each vendor about a specific tea. There is no standard and different tea makers will process tea differently. If they don't know, you might want to consider buying from more knowledgeable vendors.

My suggestion is to go right to teafromtaiwan and buy their sample packs. They are right at the source, know the farms, and, most of it is organic. This way, you will have what I think are consistently higher end oolongs to compare other vendor's offerings to such as FLT, Houde, etc.

I'm yet to try this vendor but I'm going to order all their samples today.
