I hope I have this in on time!

This is the only china I have. The pattern is called "Empress," from Crown Victoria.

Seems to me that Victoria extended the deadline to Sunday, but I am not certain of that.
If I had known that I would have worked on submitting my entry. Mine is the Rosenthal Studio Line TAC.

Did Victoria say in another thread that the deadline has been extended? I haven't seen any confirmation in this one. The original posting is unchanged - it still says that the deadline is "12:00 noon, Saturday the 15th". (Sure, I posted my extra photos late yesterday for the fun of it - and just in case! - but I'm not assuming that they are candidates.)

Eh - again, for the fun of it, and also just in case, here's another entry. It's a cup-and-saucer set in Royal Albert's "Christine" pattern. Compared to my other sets, this one's pattern is about as subtle as a jackhammer, but I like the colours and the sheer ebullience of all those autumn chrysanthemums - against a black background, no less!

P.S. And another cup. Not entirely in focus, but I can't be bothered to reshoot, so this one really is just to share. This little fellow is made by Royal Cauldon. It's almost a shame to use it for any liquid that isn't 100% transparent - it has flowers down all the sides and in the bottom!

Chamekke, you are making me want to collect teacups. And my husband will probably strangle me if I start another hobby...

Chamekke - No market for yellow cups? How odd. That one's such a delicate color with a beautifully shaped foot, too. And your last one, the Royal Cauldon - love it!

I thought it was a bit odd. The assessor said that she found it strange too - but her valuations were based on what is likeliest to sell. Now, this was 5 years ago, so possibly things have changed... also, this may be a local or regional taste rather than a "global" one.

I didn't want to sell the yellow cup in any case, so it was no problem. In general, weirdly enough, the cups she most wanted to buy were the ones I least wanted to keep!

Victoria, will the entire membership be permitted to vote... or is there a month limit for membership on the vote too? I'm almost here 2 months and hope I do get the chance to vote. Thanks for a great contest and generous prizes Adagio :!:

Ok, I had to strain my brain a little on the best way to handle the voting. After that didn't work (Ha!) I sought some advice from Chip. I had wanted to do one poll but there ended up being too many entries for one poll, so we have TWO.

There will be TWO polls and the top vote getters will then go into a FINALIST POLL. You may vote in BOTH polls!

Be very careful with your choices we will not be able to fix or correct any voting errors or hanging chads!!!

Voting is open to any registered member.
The two polls will be posted shortly along with instructions and links here:

Poll #1 - http://www.teachat.com/viewtopic.php?t=7059
Poll #2 - http://www.teachat.com/viewtopic.php?t=7060

OK--do I assume that half the cups are in the first poll, and half in the second?

Thanks, Victoria, for getting all of this set up!

Chamekke - love your additional cups, really beautiful! Thanks for posting!
Only 3 entries per person though.

kymidwife - sorry but your lovely glass cup, must have a saucer to be eligible. It is a gorgeous find.

Shelob - all registered members can vote.

Reine - yes, you are correct!

Chip - thanks!

Additional notes: the order of the poll was the order entered, with the exception of multiple entries; those were grouped with the first entry.
