Be sure to check out the Houjin wood box which has the typical Deishi signature/description of the outside of the lid.

On the inside of the lid, a special designation for this batch. It states to the right in kanji "Kinsei" which I understand means carefully made especially for and under supervision of and reflects a gratitude in which Japanese culture is reflected. Something like this. To the left, TeaChat in English, and in the romantic Japanese translation in Kanji "Discussion about Tea" And Magokoro in Kanji and English.

Size: H 1.2-1.35" X W 1.6-2" Price is $11.99 each plus shipping, but you must purchase at least 2 and no more than 6. List a few alternates please. #1-10 are stamp signed by the maker and have a continuous foot. 11-30 are signed by hand, pretty rare!!! They also have a cut foot.

WOW!!! I am a bit stunned by the demand for these...

So, there are still items available, but I am already discussing additional Houjin, Yuzamashi, and maybe gyokuro cups with the seller who picks up the phone and talks directly with Shibuya Deishi (I cannot get this his number from him ). I already gave up my Houjin and Yuzamashi and will wait for the next batcha, so feel confident in joining me. It would likely be around a month.

Also please note, that #11-30 in the cups are not stamped, they are "scratch signed" by Deishi!!! I have not seen this before from Deishi. 1-10 are stamped in the normal fashion.

Chip, nice offering. Just spent my allowance on some things so the timing was not good for me. I love the Yuzamashi. Maybe next batch. But, can't you do something about the measurements these guys use? No one thinks or measures in decimals if they are using inches. We talked about this. Centimeters is the way to go for most of the world and our American brethren who need to learn that the rest of the world doesn't measure or think like them.

It went so fast, that Chip has commissioned (through an agent) for the potter to make some more. He has therefore edited the original post - with the words highlighted in red!
