New to Pu, Need help!!!!

Hi, I have been interested in green and oolong teas for some time. I have just come back from China, where I tryed some Pu-er teas and need help starting off. I am realy comfused by this whole thing.

Why didn't you buy some of the puerh that you tried in china? I assume you liked it.

Can you tell us what the puerh you had was like? Dark liquor, light liquor, earthy taste, grassy taste, etc. This way maybe we can guide you a little more
