i just want to say that this series of threads is off the chain.
pretty amazing teaware porn.

i've flipped through a few "chapters" so far, and it's neat to see so many fine examples of warez. educational. my tastes in teaware have probably changed slightly... there are new things i want now

also, sorry for singling you out, debunix, but damn, dude... you've got a nice collection! as i went through these threads, i noticed that your posts made me do double takes again and again.

mine's about 200mL
I have a 300 ml version... Yours looks like nicer clay though. Mine just sits on a shelf as decoration

Too much time in places where a short peek at a teaware website is a refreshing break from other tasks....

Just received my "new" kama a few days ago. It's made by Keiten Takahashi, a former "living national treasure" (died in 2009). The customs authorities still didn't release my furo yet so I need to be patient.

The second picture shows a size comparison with a 1.6L Kunzan Tetsubin.

Schuuweeeet.

Would love to see that one after some years of daily use--that finish looks like one that would take marvelously to a bit of aging and staining.

Lovely cup. I bet the patina it develops over time is just going to be remarkable! :D

I agree. I think we need annual updates.
