Spilled sample

by Jade Flower » May 7th, '08, 15:21

I've just recieved my order with one of the sample tins opened and tea spilled all over the box...
I think maybe you should duct tape sample tins to prevent them from opening during transportation, just a suggestion :)

Tape is kinda messy, I'd say a rubber band would do the trick for any loose tins that are not packed in the set boxes.

Hi Jade,

Thanks for the feedback. We're working on making samples more ship-friendly. We have taped samples down in the past, and have customer state that they cannot open the samples with the tape. Hopefully we can find a happy medium!

If you do use tape and you just fold over a bit of the end piece, it makes all the world of difference in removing, as the person has something to grab a hold of.
Just a thought.
:D

Shoot, I couldn't get my tin of kukicha opened to save my life - and it didn't have tape or anything. I still have to get hubby to open that one.

It will be an enormous waste of rubber bands, don't you think? :)
