Here at work, now brewing an oolong sample called Best Wulong Tea.
I haven't tried it yet, but somthing tells me it is misnamed.

What is going on here? You have been listing off the strangest and/or most anonymous sounding tea names ever. It used to be all Ali-this and High-class-that, and now it's like Whisked Wonder White and Best Wulong Tea.Victoria wrote: ... now brewing an oolong sample called Best Wulong Tea. Cleaning out the closet?

There is something compulsive in my nature that makes me HAVE to try these samples. It's an illness. And they need to be gone.

Maybe Victoria is getting her tea from the same place I am. In my cup this morning: "Fragrant Yellow." Not bad. I think I brewed it too hot though because I get just a touch of collard greens. bleh. It was better last time I had it, when I paid attention to time/temp.
Figured I'd torment the purists a bit with my too-dark-to-see cup interior. teehee:

It is not so much about trying anything once...I will also! But having tried lapsang, I may never try it again, even if it was the last tea on earth. A close second is jasmine that has been scented by "spraying" essence on the leaf, that just disgusted me.El Padre wrote:I figured "none" would be covered under "other" so that's what I chose. I'll brew anything once.
Adagio Golden Monkey this am...and now Fukamushi Maki. My open teas are getting lowwww...this is a reason to celebrate. Celebrate the incredible enjoyment they have brought me, but also celebrate new beginnings as I prepare to open new bags!
I'd have to agree with shu, can't really stand the stuff. I marked lapsang though just because that stuff is pretty vile as well.Aphroditea wrote:shu.
well, I would probably grumble a lot about it being the last tea...then brew it up anyway.
I probably would just start with something else if there were no more tea. Maybe some muddy water, oh wait that's shu.
Padre, you may have stumbled onto something there. You can do a whole Blendtec take off line of videos called "Will it Brew?El Padre wrote:I figured "none" would be covered under "other" so that's what I chose. I'll brew anything once.

Couldn't vote today because I really needed a "None" option. I just can't imagine that I'd rule out an entire class of teas. There have certainly been individual teas that I don't like, but I usually just take that as a challenge to find one I do. I had lapsang once and it was wretched, BUT the server had put the leaf in and then forgotten it in the kitchen for about 10 minutes. Considering that ANY tea would be pretty awful at that point, I didn't take it as a total indictment on lapsang...Of course, I haven't been brave enough to try it again yet.
Spring 2007 oolong in my cup right now. I'm also brewing some English Breakfast for iced tea for later.
