BC Tea Addict says hi!

Hello everyone,

I decided to sign up to tea chat after spending so long reading and researching everyones opinions on this wonderful brew we enjoy so much. I have been enjoying tea since I was a kid, and spent many days days with my british grandma sipping away. My favourite cup at age 5 was red rose with milk and 6 spoonfulls of sugar!!! (thats what I asked for but I don't think they actually gave me that much!!) Nowadays I drink mostly Chinese tea, including various oolongs, greens, and just about to get my first shipment of raw puerh. No milk, no sugar either. Over the last few years I have begun a small collection of teawares etc and have really gotten the tea bug!

Hello Cha Nacho! Welcome to the forum from another NW-based tea addict.

You're very lucky--BC has some great Chinese teashops (and restaurants!!) In fact, I'm planning a special trip to Richmond for dim sum and a visit to Best Tea House! :D

Thanks everyone, nice to read your posts. Cool to see there are lots of BCers and NWesterners on TeaChat!! I guess it makes sense since we are on the Pacific rim and have more access to high quality teas. I'll post some photos of my tea wares in the next couple of days.
