HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

Welcome everyone to TeaDay. Please come on in and share what is in your cup today.

Yesterday most responders indicated the felt they were in a "TeaZone" sometimes. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's TeaDay.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Keeping it simple today. Do you have holiday plans today and will tea figure into them? Please share ... or share whatever is on your TeaMind today!

I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone this holiday, bottoms up.

Ditto for la Noruega.
I have every intention of guzzling astonishing amounts of semi-cheap sencha today.

My part of my neighborhood is having our first block party this afternoon- I live on a big square with a quite a large grassy area in the middle- very excited for this. So I'm working on making iced tea with my loose leaf- this would be a first for me- to take with me- I volunteered to do face painting and would love some calming green tea. Will move on to adult beverages when DH comes home from golf.

more Sae Midori in my cup this am and hopefully some very delicious Sae Midori iced this afternoon...
cheryl :)

Holiday? What holiday!

Don't retire from your main job on a small pension that needs supplementing by working round the corner in retail!

There is no such thing as a holiday in retail - except christmas day :(
Best wishes from Cheshire

I hear ya Herb_Master!

And to add to that thought, a few of us at work have always said, 'Everyone should be required to work 1 holiday in retail...and if you haven't, you really haven't worked!'

Nothing in my cup yet, Chip is still snoozing. However, I have a sneaky suspicion that it is going to be something green

Have a MemorableTeaDay Today everyone. 8)

Happy Memorial Day! A heart-felt thanks to those who have served or are serving often with great sacrifice. Thank you!

I have had no plans all weekend, and it has been wonderful. I had a "full on" breakfast this morning (eggs, toast) instead of the usual oatmeal, and I think today I might finally start the journey with that 1960s pu'erh, since I'll have time to enjoy it all day... and all week!

Black Dragon Pearl tea for breakfast, and plenty of iced tea during the day.

I've done the "holiday in retail" routine, ugh. My sympathies.

We have family coming up today, and iced tea will figure into those plans, but that's about it.

Yunnan Gold in the mug right now.

And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

The only holiday plan that I have is to visit the National Cemetery on Cape Cod.
Besides that I'll be having lots of tea. Jing's everyday DHP in my cup right now.

Current plan is to go to the Memorial Day parade at 3pm today. It is my fiance's younger brother's first time marching in the band, so I am going to support him. Both my fiance and I were in the marching band so the Memorial Day parade was always a big thing and now that the little brother is in the band, we have an excuse to go to the parade and field band competitions to watch from the sidelines instead of performing.

Currently in my cup is fukamushi sencha supreme.
