Hi all,
Just wanted to post some tea ware from the wood fire workshop I just finished. It was mostly the participants work but I was able to get in a few and some came out really nice. Enjoy...
If you want to see more views of these you can see them on my etsy site. These came from what I uploaded to flickr so I could show them here. The link for the etsy site is
http://www.etsy.com/shop/splitfirepottery
I'll be back with more soon, and I have that drawing for the yunomi giveaway and the mug giveaway tonight 6 pm EST on my blog if you want to try for winning one of them. Click on : http://splitfirepottery.blogspot.com/20 ... r-tea.html
Good luck!, only 25 entries for two freebees. Good odds...
Bill

OK, signed up as a follower using one of the available options and was signed in.
Then the option was not one of the comment options, so I could not leave a comment.
So, my comment would not post.

Chip,
I don't know what to tell you... I see that it says to follow with Google Friend Connect... It is starting to remind me of what I went through this morning with 7 logins and repeated failed attempts at posting a reply. I used the computer that works just fine other times, but not this morning... I kept at it though... maybe you might want to try with the path I mentioned above. It doesn't show you as a follower as of now.
Good Luck, Bill

Testing...Testing... I tried a dozen times to post a reply. I want to see if this will go through on this computer I have at work. I keep getting the need to login page after I've logged in.
Re: Wood Fired Ceramics by Bill Perrine (Split-Fire Pottery)
Bill, I had the worst time ever this week also, I lost count after 20 attempts.
I helps to not log out. If the computer logs you out, that seems ok, but if you log out, the fight is on.

Re: Wood Fired Ceramics by Bill Perrine (Split-Fire Pottery)
Thanks Victoria! I appreciate the support, gets so frustrating though, I don't have a lot of time to keep screwing around with it. I keep a busy schedule. I'm losing my interest in posting on teachat. I don't have this problem with any other sites. I won't quit. Not yet anyways. I already go through taking the pics, editing them , posting them on flickr and then getting the properties info so I can post on here. Then to repeatedly not be able to post!! Grrrr... I know Chip is the moderator but maybe the tech person could check into something. I tried posting to someone (I think was on the board index or something..) but I couldn't keep logged on to post a post about posting! ;-]
I wanted to put a few more pics on with somethings I've been doing lately. I have some practice chaires that are too big and I am going to make some new ones smaller with the Guilin Mountains of China on them. I have been conversing with another teachat member about these.
A Shui Fan for Aphy
And I think I'm starting to get nice results from my iron saturates

If I don't know it is happening ... and I have not had this problem ...
Thanks.

Well, it should not be happening. So, we will see what happens!T-session wrote:Thank you Chip!!! It was only once in a while for a bit, but lately... very difficult most of the time.
Everytime I see your avie, the Rod Stewart song "Hot Legs" comes to mind.

Re: Wood Fired Ceramics by Bill Perrine (Split-Fire Pottery)
Thanks Dresden, I have been getting more info everytime I fire about the zones in my kiln. I just had my 12th firing. I get this much reduction on my iron saturates, half way back, on the floor, with that much bagwall. Zero-ing in! I have some chaire and more 8 oz. yunomis, like the one that Brian got, that I want to try this on.Dresden wrote:That is very nice!!!T-session wrote:And I think I'm starting to get nice results from my iron saturates

Re: Wood Fired Ceramics by Bill Perrine (Split-Fire Pottery)
Lol... I am considering turning my avitar upside down, but then I would have to change the name of my pottery, re-vamp my internet sites, order new business cards, calanders, t-shirts, note paper, make new pottery marks... well... maybe I'll keep it the same but I definately will see the hot legs everytime I look at it from now on...Chip wrote:Well, it should not be happening. Chip,
Knock on wood, the log in problem seems to be fixed, as I have not had any problems! Thanks for telling the "techie".
