Hummmmm I dunno, now he looks like he's recycling last night's beer.
Take 2 alka seltzer and call me in the morning.

Re: Little Pig Tea pots & Other addictions
Hey ho! Here it is mid July already and I am such a slow poke. Here are a couple images of my latest hedge apple tea pots just out of the kiln.
You will find a few more pictures on http://www.flickr.com/photos/littlepigpottery/ I have yet to list any of them. If you have questions and/or are interested in procuring one please DM me.

Thanks Geek! Both teapots hold 350 ml and pour water just fine.
Ah Chip aka ! I have been attempting a green but it has been turning reddish in the heavy reduction. Ack! so I have a "cunning plan". I will glaze a couple in my next batch with an oribe. It stays green in reduction. Of course at the speed these critters make it through the process I figure the next group will be on parade this Sept.
Thanks Victoria, for dropping by! That dark blue tea pot with the black handles is porcelain. I accomplish the blue by spraying a black over a clear so this one got a little more black on it.

Very interesting about the green in reduction ...
Oribe could be very interesting indeed! Cannot wait to see the hedge apples of your efforts.

Thanks Chip! I also am anxious to see the next hedge apples.

Thanks R! firing in O2 would be the most direct route.
Chip--copper goes green in oxidation and red in reduction. (at least in the glaze base I've been using)

I second the thought on the oribe. (One of the nice things about my noborigama..... different chambers can be fired different atmospheres and cones.)ronin ceramurai wrote:Fire your oribe in O2.........
