My pino kettles have a stainless interior except for plastic on the underside of the lid.
Scale does build up.

Re: Electric kettle recommendations?
Any recommendations for Europe?
I tried looking for PINO Digital Kettle Pro and the Kamjove kettles, but a) they don't ship where I am, and b) they're 110V and I need 220V.
In my search the only thing I've found was a Russel Hobbs kettle with temp. control, but it's $255 in my local store.

Re: Can't decide on a tea kettle
Pino digital kettle pro is very nice. Have had mine less than a year, so can't yet comment on durability, but no problems yet, except one of them wants me to push & hold a a fraction of a second longer to reset things.
And yes, all stainless interior touching the water.

Re: Pino Digital Pro Kettle
I heated a big slug of vinegar diluted with water (can't remember proportion, sorry) to near boiling, let it cool, rinsed a bunch, done.
I only did it when bits of scale were visibly floating in my tea.
