... also more environmentally friendly than tea bags. Here’s what you need before you start brewing: Either a built-in tea infuser mug or jug (which I recommend) or a separate tea infuser, hot water and your favourite loose tea leaves. First you put the tea leaves into the infuser and you can use basket-style ...

Re: Searching for something like Brooke Bond D

It's hard to find exactly the same, but I would recommend to look up the ingredients of the original Brook Bond D tea, and then compare it to the alternative brands. Tea in tea bags are often scented with other ingredients.

Best organic red and green rooibos and/or honeybush vendor?

There's not a lot of info about quality or provenance out there so it seems like it's mostly trial and error. I don't think bad rooibos or honeybush would be particularly bad so much as just bland.

Can anyone recommend any sources?

I've tried Frontier Organic and it seems alright. A bit weak maybe.

Re: Electric Kettles

... that bothers me some . I do have a bag that I would probably use , but wouldn’t if I could get good results without . Thanks no response. I would recommend Lardera's new Electric Smart Kettle . It's fast and easy, and there's no pump to worry about getting clogged/breaking down.

Re: Online Pu'erh tea shops

I would recommend searching the tea chat archives and you will find a lot of information about this topic.

I would start with yunnansourcing.com. They will have tea in all price ranges. Good luck.
