... to the preset 176, then preset 185, then preset 190 and click up to 195, then to preset 205. The presets are quicker than the +/- keys only on the Pino kettles, true. But the lowest temp on this one is 140, which is good if you like to start very low with your gyokuro.

Re: Electric Kettle

I have used the gooseneck from Bonavita and several of the Digital Kettle Pro model by Pino. I've had one Pino thermometer failure in the 3 years so so since I got my first one--no other problems with any of them.

Re: Pino Digital Pro Kettle

Debunix,

Even with this kettle failing, it seems the Pinos have been good to you. Thus, I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experience with the new Bonavita when it comes. Nice to have justification for some new teaware!

Blessings!

Re: Pino Digital Kettle Pro quit working after two months?

I've had three for at least a year now--one of them is probably two years old or more--and never had this problem. One of them does have an annoying habit of beeping if I remove the kettle for any length of time, but otherwise they're all pretty well behaved.
