I'm new to the forums.
I was given a tin of a Mariage Freres blend called French Breakfast as a Christmas gift. I LOVE it. I am not usually a black tea drinker, and not usually a flavored black tea drinker (at least I think it's flavored). But I am dying to know the components of this blend. I am guessing some vanilla, some chocolate, some lapsang souchong, maybe some assam--but it's so subtle, mysterious, and elusive that I just can't place it.
Fully oxidized tea leaves for a robust cup.
