Rishi Keemun Royal - tried it?

by TokyoB » May 8th, '09, 16:56

I've been thinking of trying a top grade Keemun for awhile. This is promoted as a very high grade and is priced accordingly - $39 for 50g. Anyone tried this, either this year or last? This is still the '08 production that they're selling and they tell me that this was also sold last year ('07 production).

Never tried it. But it is extremely highly priced. Is it really worth that much?

That is the question. I have generally (but not always) found premium priced teas to be very good but have always hard a hard time as to deciding whether or not they are worth it. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, but I guess it also depends on the tea budget of the buyer. Was wondering if someone thought this was an outstanding keemun or not.
