I love all the rabbit pictures! It makes me want one so so bad, but it's the one and only creature or substance I'm allergic too. :(

I haven't had too many pets in my life but here are the furbabies I have had:

1. Bonita the cat. She was my mom's cat before I was born. She was a stray that my mom rescued. Bonita felt a little threatend when I was born and used to wap at me and hiss when I was a baby, apparently! :) she passed when I was 11. She was 17!

2.&3. Dusti and Booferd, brother and sister kitties. We adopted these two furballs a few days after Bonita died. Dusti is a sweet grey dog trapped in a cat's body who follows us around the house and loves people. Booferd is a 25lb balk cat who is terrified of everything but purrs constantly, let's me dress him up, and cuddle him all the time!

Vulture wrote:Yah reading up the lizard might not be the best. I thought it be interesting but seems that they do about 80-90% of nothing every day. Next concideration is a ferrit but I don't know if they will make me allergic like cats and dogs
Ferrets actually make great pets but their vet bills are out the roof on some things, But i actually dont take any of mine to the vet as if they do have something severe enough i am able to humanly put them down with in minuets unless i know it can be treated and they can live a long healthy life

Also sugar gliders are another option to consider they dont need a vets attention unless its yearly check ups but they dont need shots

Just letting you know there is a lot of hear say about ferrets and shots, most people have agreed that even if a ferret does some how get rabies that because their body is so small they will die before they end up showing signs of it

I want a pet! My wife is terrified of virtually every form, including birds and cats. I would love a dog though!

Beautiful dogs, GWS!

Chip, I'm in luffs with Fuji. But I must ask...how does he get his water? Do you syringe it to him? I won't be able to sleep unless I know...

Well, twist my rubber arm, and if I can figure out this uploading deal here, I'll post a couple pics of some of the animals I share my life with. *thumbsup*

Here are my 2 - the girl kitty rules the roost in this household. She is Christine and he is Erik - named from Phantom of the Opera (Erik is the phantom if you read the book) and is the black one - Christine is the grey/white one. And yes, they do sleep all curled up together all the time.

nrstooge--Cute pic. I have a cat who looks identical to Erik. :D Is he a polydactyl, too?

Three of my bunch:

It took Fuji quite a while to figure out how to drink from a bowl, but he figured it out somehow. He makes quite a racket drinking ... his normal grunting/snorting/golluming is even more amplified than normal ... and his determined drinking.

Thanks for posting your beautiful friends Shawn, nrstooge, and Firemoss.

Erik only has 5 toes on each foot, but he is the sweetest, kindest kitty I know. Very gentle and loving. The only thing he does, if he gets bored, which he hasn't done since I got Christine, is shred the toilet paper. Otherwise.. no worries with him. Now, Christine, on the other hand is another matter. She is very lovable, but a bit too much so at 5:30am with her cold/wet nose. She is a nudger too. She worked on me from about 5:30 to around 8am this morning - my day to sleep in. Guess where she is now?
