this just kills me

One of the intentionally aged teas, Pu-Erh has a loyal following.

hmmm, It looks to me like a marketing ploy. Make cheap cakes and put em in a cute wrapper and packaging and sell em at a high price. I could be completely wrong, but its just my opinion.

Over-priced maybe, but guan zi zai's cakes are not cheap :P

Really, I thought that Guan Zi Zai offered reasonable cakes at reasonable prices, although my experience with them has been the less flashy '09 (sans their LBZ and Jingmai) offerings from Yunnan Sourcing, which delighted me alot.

I've found GZZ offerings to be quite flat, but haven't had any of the 09's.

Very cute packaging. What will it look like after 30 years? :?:

True, so true, and how many toxins will the plastic based packaging, bleached paper and chemical printing dyes release in this time.

These are meant for buy now, drink now and give away now to your fancy business partners who'll be impressed by how much money you've spent on their gift.

Yeah I have them now :D I don't plan to try them soon though. Well even if they are not as good as expected, I guess I can still use them as gifts to girlfriends :D

The fabric is not as pretty as the photo, but the wrapping paper is as pretty. Overall I don't think this wrapping material is less natural than wrapping of any other puerh.

According to manufacturer, both of the shu and sheng are made from Menghai + Jingmai materials. In my impression, Guan Zi Zai by far doesn't have the best quality price ratio, because, as you see, you've go to pay for the wrapping as well. But I think they are serious and honest about their tea materials (probably more so than Da Yi, even though Da Yi has much better quality price ratio).

Nice packaging. I like it very much. Where do you purchase the teas from?
