Beijing Tea Auction - Kai Lung's wallet is now empty

From Stéphane Erler's Tea Masters blog a report on the Beijing Tea Auction.

This tea sold for $73,000 US dollars. (Hung Piao Sung Hao , 80 years old)

Interesting to see the white frost on the cake. The neifi is not stained at all, which is a bit odd to me, especially in reference to a different cake he thinks might not be all it seems, based on the neifi looking a bit fake. I like the look of the cake, and do wonder what it is like to brew. Do you think the new owner is chomping at the bit the pull a chunk out and brew it up ? Or is it just an investment -

I'll post a link to the teapots in the teaware section ....

I believe the expression is champing at the bit, which I certainly be doing if in possession of a 73K bing.

It looks very suspect, actually, this cake.... compression is far too tight for something purportedly so old.
