I think op posted it in every teachat forum, which is not good...
But I do appreciate the news. The last time I heard people talking about Hoffman, as I vaguely remember, he sold off silk roads tea and started to entirely focus on puerh. Was that some 5 years ago? If he comes out again and brings his collection from these years, it's exciting :D Although I don't think I can afford any high end collection, I am excited to hear more about it.

The OP decided to share this info in the Pu-erh forum since DLH is more of a Pu-erh specialist than other types of teas ... and withdrew the topics in the other forums.

I recently posted a quick review of some of his teas on the rec.food.drink.tea Usenet newsgroup - not sure if it would be polite to cross-post here. David is opening his old (up to 60 years) Pu-erh stocks to the public, as well as adding new items. He will apparently release lists as inventory is taken, and seems happy to discuss his offerings by phone in the meanwhile.
