50+ USD sheng cake recommendation

by Haddemall » Oct 19th, '16, 09:39

Dear all,

Looking for a 50+ USD daily drinker sheng cake. Did some research and am considering W2T ''If it isn't.......'' but would like to know if there is something else I should look at. I like 'em fruity, thick and sweet with good qi.

Any thoughts.......

Best,

Haddemall

For around $50 mark, I would recommend 2011 Autumn Gao Shan Zhai from Tea Urchin. Its 50% off and is a very good deal indeed.

Essence of tea 2016 Wuliang H is also phenomenal for the price. Very thick. But you need to wait for them to age.

What about this one?

Scott has produced an exclusive batch of 100g cakes for what-cha in the UK - same leaves:

I have a couple of those cakes and will get some more - great bang for the buck IMO.

This cake from Yunnan Sourcing used to be $50, is now $70, but I highly recommend it for a daily drinker.

I'd put this cake in a similar boat... it also used to be cheaper...
