KEYIXING Fabric

by zemlemer » Jun 1st, '17, 03:47

Hello.
I've found a lot of KE YI XING cake on ebay.
They cost suspiciously cheap:) About $25 for the 2000-2005 250g raw brick.
Can someone asked me about this fabric and their tea?

PS Also I've found 7542 CNNP AGED YUNNAN PU-ERH TEA CAKE 1999 RAW 357G from DTH for $20. It's suspiciously cheap too:)))))))

Any idea?

I think this TeaDB article applies here too:
Don’t be drawn to a tea because of obviously false marketing. If a tea is being sold for $0.50/g and comes from 1800 year old trees, why the hell are you curious? That is obviously a tall tale and unless you actually think the tea might be good there is no reason to support that kind of false marketing by giving them business. There is a certain fascination I’ve seen from people in the tea community about these clearly false claims. Does it really matter if the vendor is maliciously lying or is simply passing down misinformation. Call me cynical but I don’t get the appeal at all.

Avoid the trap of blind buying a tea because it is an underpriced XX region (Guafengzhai, Bingdao, etc.) tea. Buy the tea because you like its qualities and are OK with the price it is being sold as. If you just buy the cheapest alleged “Bingdao”, “Guafengzhai”, and “Bohetang” you can find on Aliexpress you will end up with none of the above.

First of all I understand puerh prices:). Its very strange to pay $25 for 250 g 17 year tea. But some of them are in DTH shop. Quite reputable shop.

Maybe a reason to reconsider their reputation?
They've been selling a fake 7542 quite some time now:

DTH writes under the CNNP 7542:

"Note: This is a multi-variation listing includes different weight. Please choose one from 'NET WEIGHT' menu just below item title. 50g and 100g orders are loose tea samples pried from a complete item and packed separately in plastic bag for trial purpose only. If you wish to get a complete item with its original packaging on the picture, please choose a complete item in the menu"

But then I cannot find that option.

Are you talking about Dragon Tea House? I wouldn't purchase anything from them, as they've been caught selling fakes before. I received a fake Jin Dayi from them

I've read opinions about fake tea from this vendor. I've bought only xiaguan from DTH and some samples (dayi and mengku). The taste was good. But some tea looks very dangerous.

Btw, DTH is in trusted vendor on teachat:)
