My '98 pu sample from pu erh shop
I finally got around to trying my 2 oz. sample of 1998 Puerh from puerh shop. It was very interesting. It had the scent of grain, Like rice. The brew was dark, like an assam black. The flavor was very smooth with some sweetness. I could see the complexity that an aged pu erh has to offer. Overall it was a good experience, It is not my favorite tea I've had but it is defiantly another step towards "mastering" pu erh and I am glad I bought it.
