do you brew more than 1 type of tea at the same time?

One of the intentionally aged teas, Pu-Erh has a loyal following.

Typically I have 2-3 going at a time. But my sessions commonly last for 2 days for most of my tea.

On my tea tray right now is a aged shen in a yixing from last night, a baozhong in a ceramic gaiwan from noon and a aged TKG from this morning in my glass gaiwan. That is a very typical tea moment for me.

For me brewing more than one would detract from the more subtle nuances that I seek from each type of tea.

I will do as many as 5 infusions of a tea and then move on. If it is a weekend, I will likely have had 3 different teas in the course of the day.

I never drink more than one at a time, but I usually have multiple pots I switch back and forth between though out the day.

I usually drink one tea, typically in the morning (and on an empty stomach more often than is probably ideal). I'll make 5-12 infusions or so of it, and usually drink just a small (~ 30 ml maybe?) cup or two of each infusion, with the other cup for the teapot I'm using or my little water buffalo ornament who hangs out with me at work).

Sometimes I'll make tea in the early afternoon as well.

For special occasions (tea tastings and such), I can handle a lot more tea, but I find that drinking a lot of strong tea every day tends to not agree with my system, even if I try to ramp it up slowly.

i must honestly say that i have never had any problems with my stomach of my head when drinking teas at night, day, full stomach, empty stomach etc.....no problems here.

i want to add that i only have two kinds of tea at a time. too many kinds ruins the taste in the mouth or the back of the throat.

Usually one at a time, very occasionally two.

If there are a few friends around at the weekend tea and single malt make great buddies ,a few sips of the whisky and off to the tea cave to find a suitable pairing. It keeps everybody happy although some end up a little happier than others.

I have done comparison tastings of 2 or more teas using those competition sets and spoons, but that's a little different than actually "drinking" tea the way I normally would.
