The pot that I use for aged pu erh is about 30ml and I've always filled it about 1/2 way with tea. Today (after I purchased 10ml cups) i tried filling the pot 3/4 of the way w/ some HouDe 90's maocha http://www.houdeasianart.com/index.php? ... cts_id=641 and loved the result. The liqour is so thick that it vaguely resembles syrup (in texture, not taste), yet it isn't bitter.
Has anyone else tried brewing pu erh like a chao zhou old man?

Holy smokes! 30 ml? That's a lot of work to get a full cup of tea. I am such a gauche American.
