Every time I catch sight of this thread, I keep thinking it refers to clumsiness with tea wares.
Can you tell I'm not a pu-head - or that I broke the lid of my kyuusu the other week?
{sobs brokenheartedly}

Re: Break as you go or all at once?
Your second option is the way that I prefer for my personal tea.maxman wrote:Do you (1)break up an entire tea cake at once, or do you (2) take out a cake, break off enough for a pot, then wrap it back up?
I tend to go with 2.
Is there any reason not to break up a cake all at once, even though it may take several months or more to drink it?
Cheers,
Steve
Good tea drinking,

Re: Break as you go or all at once?
That sounds like a REALLY cool idea!
How about this:
1. We schedule a day/time in the near future to have a video conference to evaluate a particular variety.
2. I ship everyone a sample of tea (most-likely sheng or shu pu)
3. We brew/drink together (virtually at a table) and evaluate all together!
Well, I think it's an interesting idea. Now let's ee if anyone agrees or if it works out as planned. This could be the new way to do the boxes.
