I've been doing the same, I'm also holding out on a few other non-pu teas from Scott until this years pu starts comming in so I can just order all at once...

Patience is certainly a virtue

I just got off the phone with China, and they told me that in order to save time, they were just going to send them all directly to Hobbes's house.

Patience, I think May and June they start to pour in. It's hard to remember even though I've been following closely the past two or three years.

Almost forgot to mention, there are already a bunch of Mengku cakes available in China now, and I'm sure if you asked Scott he could get them for you. The 1974 cake of this year looks particularly good, but then again all Mengku teas look great. Mengku started super early out of the gate.

I talked to Scott 2 weeks ago and he told me that the Dayi cakes were coming in that week! It probably takes him a bit stock them, list them, take pics, etc. etc.. all that business-y stuff. :) I haven't talked to him since then though.

Also what do you guys think the prices will be like this year? So far they have been low. Theres that 09 mengku cake going for $8, hopefully this is a trend that shows what others will be priced at. I'm hoping for $9 7542 (901) and $7 8582 (901). That would be awesome!

You can get those great prices, but you're in the wrong country.

8582 (801) $4.10

7542 (801) $7.32

That does it. I'm moving!

Just saw a couple of 2009 Mengku releases on YNSourcing. Mengku's new wrapper designs are pretty ugly to me. I liked their old ones better. That seems to be the case with all wrappers after the puerh bubble bursted. Hopefully, the quality of the cake itself is not sacrificed.
