Mystery red tea egg

by MysteryRedTeaEgg » May 24th, '25, 22:53

I found a red metallic egg-shaped object along the Hudson River in Manhattan NYC. I thought it was a trinket of some sort but I couldn't open it. Also was heavy for its size (smaller than the palm of my hand). I stuck it in my glove box and forgot about it. Until now. I started trying to find out more about it using lens search & AI assistance. The writing on it was Chinese and it translates as some type of Xin Ji Hao Pu'er Tea possibly 信记号冰岛龙蛋普洱茶 (Xin Ji Hao Iceland Dragon Egg Pu'er Tea . AI tells me it could be worth 1000's of dollars even 10's of 1000's. Since I know nothing about tea, I thought I might start here for some advice. Anybody know anything about this ?

I tried adding a pic but it tells me my jpeg is too large
