My father learned about tea from chinese calligrapher friends, and taught me what I knew. Since starting a new job with an office where I can brew tea regularly, I've gone from panicking when I couldn't find the one brand of Ti Guan Yin I knew and loved to obsessively exploring the whole range of tea. This forum was recommended by a tea acquaintance. The tea forum on egullet dot org has introduced me to whole classes of teas that I was too intimidated to explore on my own, and I'm looking forward to exploring what this forum has to offer.
