Tea Pilgrimage

by jjukosky » Apr 7th, '10, 22:34

Hello,
I am new to this site and very excited about its contents. I've always been into teas of all kinds and I am now looking for a full tea immersion. My girlfriend and I are planning a visit to China, focusing on learning about and writing about tea. We are giving ourselves a lot of time for research and learning the language, so that we will go in primo prepared. I would love any help and sage advice that anyone of you might have for me. I.E. places to visit, things to know before going.. etc..

PS. I am also looking for any info on a particular green tea that has captured my fascination... Dian Lu Eshan... aka 'Remebering the Tea King' anyone heard of this?

Hello and welcome! I have not heard it called that, but a quick Yahoo search reveals it to be green Mao Feng. I am quite a fan of the black version, but I have never tried green Mao Feng.

Glad you joined us, good luck with your tea journey!
