Greetings from Attalla, Alabama

Ran across this site while trying to identify a new piece of teaware, and discovered a few things I had mis-identified, much to my delight! (No, those aren't wierd sake cups, they are most of a gungfu tea set.... and that is a horn tipped tea pick that completes that tea tool set you got at the same store a month later, not an odd hairstick! ;)
I am curious about what I already own, what I don't own yet, what I would like to get, as well as learning more about teas and how to brew them and trying new teas and brewing methods.

I make no promises about not being a space-case sometimes tho!!

I have been searching a lot. :)

I also have many packages of tea to identify - we have been collecting packages of tea for a few years now whenever they showed up at a local store, and have some very interesting varieties.

We also have a large quantity of unidentified tea, or tea that we tried once and didn't like that I am pretty sure we brewed incorrectly. This is going to be my project for the next few weeks - identifying what we have, and how to brew it correctly. (And yes, I plan to sample quite a bit of it!!)

So - I am going to have a very fun couple of weeks!

P.S. - Does anyone know where I can find a tea-related kanji list?
