Hello all, just recently (as in two weeks ago) started driniking tea as a way to get a little caffeine in me and also to soothe my throat after a day of talking (i'm a teacher). For some reason the o-cha matchas have me interested, but which one to choose? I'm looking for low/no bitterness, and a natural sweetness that I can cradle all afternoon. Now, being newly married and just having bought a house, I dont have the funds to try the whole line up. I have one shot at the o-cha matcha line up.... Which one should i go for that fits my description?
Any other fellow Canadians out there?

Welcome to TeaChat, Linty! Yes, there are a fair number of fellow Ontarians on this forum.
May I suggest Maiko for some matcha? They are currently having a sale on their better matchas, so if your funds are tight (congrats on the new house!), they may be a better option than O-Cha at this point.

Hi Linty,
welcome also from me!
Unfortunately, I don't know a lot about matcha either... still I wish you a good time here!

Sheubtse (hope I got that right, I'm replyin and trying to remember the sn) thanks for the link, those look like a great deal.... Although they seem to hae a few diff types and i will have to read and see which one grades out as which. Thank you.
Maybe this question would be better posted under the green tea/ocha threads? I'll giver a go.

A tardy but warm welcome to TeaChat. I already see you around the forum and hope to see you more.
O-Cha was my first purchase directly from Japan and has been a personal fave ever since. I will post in reply to your other post.
