Hello everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. My name is Mike Martino, and I'm an American potter living in Saga pref., Japan, making Karatsu style pottery. I make functional ware for tea, sake, the dinner table, flower and plants, tea ceremony, etc... as well as sculptural work and collaborative work with artists from other mediums. Looking forward to many interesting discussions about tea and tea ware.
