Hi there, Thank you for accepting me into this forum.
A quick intro….
How long have you been drinking tea?
Being a Singaporean, I have been drinking Chinese tea since young. But only into serious drinking and Yixing pots collection these recent years.
What was your first Tea?
What is your favourite Tea currently?
I can’t really remember my first tea. I prefer semi-fermented Oolong (Tieguanyin and Wu Yi Yan Cha) and my favourite are Da Hong Pao and Shui Xian (narcissus).
What is your next purchase?
My Tieguanyin has run out of stock. Waiting for replenishment from my usual tea merchant.
Where is your favourite spot to brew up?
At home dining table together with my wife and kids. I have a simple rule whenever we brew up….i.e. no phones and tablets when seated around the table. This is a great opportunity for family bonding.
Here is one of my recent acquired Yixing pot that I am using to brew Shui Xian (narcissus).
Late 70s Green Sticker Factory 1 Shuping appx 90ml.

Re: Hello from Singapore!
Welcome to teachat. You seem to have started at the top with great tea selections and teaware. It looks like Singapore has a pretty sophisticated tea culture with mentors and many collectors.

Re: Hello from Singapore!
Thank you! Indeed Singapore has rich tea culture but not very much appreciated by younger generation. I am lucky to learn from some good tea lovers/merchants.victoria3 wrote: Welcome to teachat.
