I love to listen to Simon and Garfunkel, the Beatles (and solo Paul, George, and John), Elton John, John Denver, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Hawaiian music, and any Indian music I can find (which isn't saying much). Sometimes Queen, David Bowie, a little Andrews Sisters, Billy Joel, Jimi Hendrix, or Led Zeppelin.

Just thought I'd revive this thread. Some of my favorites at the moment:

Hellogoodbye
Third Eye Blind
Counting Crows
The Bravery
Death Cab for Cutie (and The Postal Service, of course)
Bloc Party
Head Automatica
My Chemical Romance

Pretty random huh? I'm not into the "it's only good if nobody else likes it" thing with indie-ish music, so I don't mind if some of these guys are a little mainstream.

Aw! I'm mad addicted to the Hellogoodbye album. It's the current "happy music" in the player. It's just so quirky I have to smile.

And of course, Death Cab, Postal Service, and Third Eye are just classics.

Ah, well it seems someone has to pull us back into the mainstream. It might as well be me.

My playlist at the moment includes:

Bryan Adams
Jivebunny and the Mastermixers
Neil Diamond
Roy Orbison
Duran Duran (the original line-up, thank you)
Eagles
Elton John
INXS
Queen
Eric Clapton & B.B. King
Brian Setzer Orchestra

There's a lot more, but that would be the first 10 or so who jumped out at me. I also love classical music, specifically violin (which I studied), more specifically Itzhak Perlman (whom I saw several years ago in Boston); 50s; 80s; and Celtic music.

Well, I love ALMOST all music. I can't stand hillbilly pop. I hope I didn't step on anyones toes by saying that. However, I must admit, when I am at home in the car at work it is my Jazz daddyO
