I haven't seen the movie. I suppose I should make time one of these days. I am generally not a television type of person, and most books-into-movies aren't very good but I've heard that was.

Not reading the book I can't say for sure. But others in my perfume circle were hesitant too, as in how the scents could be translated on screen, and they said it was well done. But of course those are perfume lovers.

I most certainly enjoyed the book, and based on the positive press the movie gets in this thread I guess I'll have to see it.
