Do you have a link ? I was thinking it might be 绿洲 (lv zhou, meaning oasis...just a pretty name?) or 泸州 (lu zhou, a place in Sichuan...although that doesn't make a lot of sense) Not sure what it would mean for a flavor? Maybe contact the seller and ask

Hi,

i actually got a Luzhou Flavor Bai Ya Qi Lan and had the same question in my mind..

Luckily i can give you a proper answer after finding out, that Luzhou Flavor refers to a specific Liquor from Luzhou, it's Rice Wine.

So Luzhou Flavor in tea will refer to a sweet and sour fermented slightly alcoholic grape / rice flavor.

"Luzhou" in "Luzhou-scented tea" refers to a specific flavor profile associated with a Chinese liquor called "Luzhou Laojiao," which is known for its strong aroma and is often used to describe a tea with a similar intense, slightly sweet, and slightly spicy fragrance, typically achieved through the addition of essential oils or flavorings during processing.
Key points about Luzhou flavor:

Origin:
The name comes from Luzhou, a city in Sichuan province, China, where Luzhou Laojiao liquor is produced.
Flavor profile:
This liquor has a distinctive strong aroma with notes of fermented peaches and a slightly spicy character.
Application in tea:
When a tea is described as "Luzhou-scented," it means it has been infused with a similar aroma, often achieved by adding flavorings during processing to mimic the liquor's characteristics.
