Oolong Recommendation for newbie that likes Yamamoto Oolong

As a newbie to loose leaf tea, I am looking for a recommendation for an Oolong tea. My wife and I have enjoyed the Yamamotoyama Oolong tea bags and when we bought a loose oolong at the local asian market it was completely different and we did not like it as much (justmake tea king hsaun). Can anyone recommend an Oolong that is similiar to the Yamamotoyama?

There are two types of Yamamoto-yama oolong teabags. I am only familiar with the ones in the purple box of 20 bags, which is about $5. This one is actually quite good, especially for a teabag. I think the closest kind of tea would be a Japanese or Taiwanese dark oolong.

Naivetea has a very good Taiwanese oolong, Dong Ding, which may be close enough to what you're looking for. I thought it was very good, but it is also quite expensive. Their Heritage sampler contains the Dong Ding along with two other dark oolongs as well as the Bao Zhong which is a high-mountain or green oolong. All are from Taiwan.

Hou De also carries Dong Ding at about half the price. I have not tried this one, but I have been very satisfied with their teas and they are my regular vendor for all oolongs.
