The study found that a group of proteins in milk, called caseins, interacted with the tea to reduce the concentration of catechins.

I have not heard that before. The only teas that I add any dairy to is a black tea with vanilla and Red Rose tea. The Red Rose is a cheap black tea for sweet tea that tastes surprisingly good to me hot.
