0-4, I like to try everything at least once, even if that means it'll go stale faster.

Made a big French Press of coffee this morning; I got a massive caffeine buzz from it (~24oz.) Mmmmm...

Thinking of brewing some Puerh soon.

I just opened my last unopened bag, YM Classic, and had it this afternoon. I would like to have 4-7 unopened. Like I said, I don't have any unopened currently. Unless that box under the tree is...well, pure speculation...

Exactly. The TeaFridge was stuffed, and then in a matter of hours, poof, all gone.

I sat here and thought about it. Teas that are mine, that were not given to me as gifts that I will never drink and will probably just re gift to someone else, I have no unopened packages in my cabinet. I try everything I have almost as soon as I get it.

I will be honest though, I wish I had a storage area just for aged puers where I could store puers and let them continue to age. I don't, so unfortunately I don't have any unopened teas right now.

So far I've had three cups of silver needle this morning.

I tend to order more as I start running out of things, so I don't usually have much that isn't opened. Just samples at the moment, so 0, and i like to keep it inder 4 unopened.

Snowbud all day at work, forgot my travel mug again tonight, so had to go witha soda for rehearsal.

Was going to say just one, until I realized that there are a half dozen or so samples and such hiding away up there.

Currently finishing up a bit of Mao Jian from TeaSpring. Nice.

I think I have two or three unopened teas, mostly "repeats" of ones that I already have open. I'd like to have more unopened, but I just always get this urge to try out new teas when I get them! Hahaha.

Sipping on a ginger tisane right now.

Great TD, yeah.

Next up was genmaicha at the sushi bar. Yao, our fave server had a gift box of TKY ... talk about service! And last up, Sencha 7132 asamushi organic ... dried fruits followed by warmed cinnamon raisin bread in an unflavored tea.

Finishing up with SLT.

I have more than 50 bags unopened but quite a few of them are small, between 7 and 30grams: 1 white, 16 green (mostly Chinese), 33 oolong (mostly yancha), and either 4 or 8 red tea depending on how you count. However I seem to have the correct weight of oolong and green teas to last until the next harvest.

Jing's huang guan yin with breakfast, Seven Cups shi feng dragonwell with lunch, and Hou de's ba xian as a late pick-me-up.

I'm guessing 20 but it could be up to 50. It's probably at least 50 that I haven't tried. Some I like to open and smell when I get them if they are from an online order that I haven't had before. I was glad I opened one this week as I discovered it was missing all the good fruit/flower bits! I didn't realize the company changed the blend and sent me the old blend while the website described the new blend. I fixed that yesterday though.

More than 50, quite likel, due to and abundance of puerh, and darker oplongs where aging is more desirable than greens and green oolongs.

I only have 1 or 2 bags of green oolongs open at each place I brew tea, and I'm not counting the unsealed tins I was given by a friend whose clients give him tea all the time, and he shares a lot with me. These latter have come with considerable hype but haven't been very good. After drinking a lot of the gift teas lately--wanted to give them a fair trial--it was so fabulous to open a fresh package of norbu spring tie guan yin this week--back to the good stuff, whew!

And I'm trying to keep it to one sencha at a time.

100g Feng Huang Milan Dancong

So thats only 300g  plus almost as much opened. Just in case that doesn't get me through winter I ordered some Jiu Hua fo cha along with some other goodies from dragonteahouse.

0 unopened teas, 1 unopened tisane and 3 unopened samples. i have trouble leaving things unopened, i like to try things as soon as they arrive so only duplicates get left unopened for very long.
