I would say I drink like most of the options. When the tea is very hot, ill slurp. A little cooler, Ill sip. If its cold, ill gulp. I prefer the slurp though. I don't know if its something that has carried over from my coffee tasting days but slurping cools the liquid while disbursing it over the tongue, hitting all the taste bud areas, thus a full tasting experience.

I do all of the above...and so does your mom. And most people! ;)

I sniff brewed tea; bottled tea, not so much. Nor restaurant iced tea, but if I make my own iced tea, then I might sniff on it a little.

I sip rarely...unless it's very hot tea, and then it's a sippy slurp.

I slurp good, hot brewed teas. To cool them and to taste them better with some air in the ol' teaburettor.

I gulp and chug when the tea is cold (room temperature or on ice). Great way to quench your thirst!

Some sips are larger than others, but for the most part I drink my tea sip by sip. Especially now that I ponder the SIP protocol. ( A little ironic, for quite awhile when people googled my blog name, it would be my blog and a bunch of tech articles involving the area to Tech I now am busy learning/ working on. This is long before I had any idea what Session Initiation Protocol was, or how it could be used for Telephony.)

I mostly sip, but when drinking cool-brewed or chilled teas may gulp or chug them down; sometimes slurp when trying to drink an aggressive young sheng while still quite hot, before it gets that bitterness from standing too long; and there is almost always time for a bit of sniffing, but fortunately the sniffing rarely leads to snorting.

Now sipping some 2013 Winter Lishan Cui Feng Dong Pian from Origin Tea, from my drippy red-on-celadon Ray Morales cup.

I usually sip. When I slurp, chug, or gulp any drink I always choke or swallow too hard (yes, that's possible).
I have different kinds of sips too since that's pretty much the only way I can drink.
I also sniff because I'm big on smells for some reason.

Hi all!

How I drink the tea really depends on the tea. Some I'll sniff and linger over, some I'll sip, and some I'll gulp. I'm hoping that eventually I'll get to the point where every tea I drink is one I'd like to linger over with all my senses rather than hastily down it for one reason or another.

Other. I lap up tea from the tea bowl like a dog drinks water.

Okay, that wasn't true. All of the Above is more accurate. There is a time for everything.

Today: gulping an oversteeped back-of-shelf Alishan.

I am proud to be a sipper. It's all about savoring every single drop of the precious liquor - Especially with a deep, complex Russian Caravan tea that I blend myself. :)

I suppose, even though my experience in minimal. I'm a gulper, 3 or 4 large gulps and the matcha is gone.. That's pretty much how it goes. general types of tea though, when hot small sips, later large sips.

I am almost always a sipper, even if I am sipping rapidly and frequently  I like to savor the taste of my tea. And always, always sniff and smell my tea. It's important to stop and smell the roses or in this case, the tea! :D
Update: having some strawberry chamomile before bed.

will snorting the tea give me hallucinations?

I sniff the tea, love the aromas. I mostly sip, but sometimes I quietly slurp.

All of the above!
Almost all tea gets sniffed. Finer delectable teas are mostly sipped or slurped. Icy refreshing teas are often gulped and chugged.
All of them are drank.
