Snow is awesome! I absolutely love snow and cold weather. It was all warm and melting for the past two days, so the storm last night and this morning made it all pretty again. Plus, any excuse to stay inside and experiment with tea is also a good thing.
The TKY gaiwan brewing is actually going well. It does taste better when I am not sick. The leaves have all unfurled by the third steep and they look really cool.

Had my first cup of sencha today. The taste was wonderful but the caffeine was too much. I must find a good decaf sencha.
I think I'm too tired to make an evening cup of tea. And so my most expensive teapot, which is Royal Worcester Evesham Gold like the rest of my everyday china sits packed away, and my everyday tetsubin sits unused.

Unfortunately I do not have a teapot. No one in house drinks with me so I simply bought a strainer from Vitamin Shoppe.
hehe.
I did get some new tea at China Town today. Since my Oolong and Green teas are running low, I got more, and also am trying some Jasmine, Black, and Pouchong teas. The black tea is currently in my cup, and it's delicious!

I have a bunch of pots (most of which I seldom or never use) and I love them, but you can do
anything with a strainer!!

Today, a ho hum session with some aged baozhong. Now I am enjoying some fukamushi Supreme.
It seems Hokujo-sama is a favorite among the big spenders around here.
