Started with a green but very non-Irish Gyokuro this morning. I think I've finally learned to make it in a way that pleases my palate.
Then I re-tried a very disappointing new tin of White Peach, but it doesn't seem to have any peach flavor.
Maybe that's what I get for not honoring St. Paddy's Day appropriately. Hmm, better make some Irish Breakfast with a bit of peppermint in it.

Even though it's cold and sloshy here (recovering from a spring snow storm), all my tea has to be iced today to aviod a temporary dental issue :? . Hopefully back to enjoying my tea HOT in a couple days.

I guess I got as close to Irish Breakfast as I possibly could have...with a couple bags of PG Tips.

Green tea all day! I started with three steeps of Guricha in various travel mugs for my day of classes. I am planning on more green tea later, though I am not sure what yet.

Guess I'll jump in here, though the day is almost over. Along with my blacks today, I had my daily cup of matcha, I'm drinking Tie guan yin at the moment, and will probably end the day with a cup of kukicha (one of my faves). :-)

Happy St. Pat's day....

In all honesty I have been so busy today with a Sedimentology project I forgot it was St. Patrick's Day until I searched something on google........and of course by this point I have already been drinking tea today, so too late to start a pattern to match the day. Consequently, I have had everything, that I drink that is, today, except any form of green tea!

*I started off the day with Rishi Silver Needles and after steeping the life out of them, I moved on to my Wu's Reserve 2006 Ripe Pu-Erh and I have been drinking this ever since.

-Happy St. Pattys Day To All!

Today I went into http://www.liquidplanet.com/ for the first time, and saw that they have a gazillion teas that they don't even offer online. I'm drinking the cinnamon/vanilla tea by a company I've never heard of, but it's good. Really good. I bought a package of their Huckleberry black tea to try too.

They have a million green teas. Tomorrow, when I'm in town, I will go back and see what they have.

???better than Mexican Chocolate signature blend???

Moved onto another green, Ding Gu Da Fang...aka, Long Jing look alike from Anhui. This was the last of it. I used the Gaiwan from Padre for the first time...well first time I ever used a gaiwan, period. Hmmm, can white men use a gaiwan w/o spilling half of it?

I will have to reorder this one next harvest.

Congrats on your new gaiwan!

I kept my pledge of all green teas today. Sadly I never made it to that new green oolong awaiting me.

And then solo, I had my home lightly pan fired Daily Sencha...I could almost drink this...daily!

Still sipping on some late steeps of the Ding Gu Da Fang and sencha.

It seemed after IM crashed tonight, everyone left the TeaParteeee.
