I've done a little blending, but nothing too serious. Most recently it was a Ceylon, orange peel, vanilla, cinnamon combo. It actually came out pretty decent. I don't do a huge amount of blending though because I have so many teas in the cabinet to try that I haven't had the need or interest!

Hairy Crab Oolong again today. Trying to identify my favorite brewing parameters for this one.

Nice looking strainer Eastree! Is that from YSllc?

My oolong was so good this afternoon, I'm doing something I rarely do and that is start a new brew of the same tea. This one is really wowing me.

Today was Yunnan Gold followed by a certain flavored oolong I just got too curious about. :twisted:

Normally, I'm a tea purist and don't blend or drink flavored tea, but there's this one thing I really like: mango flavored tea from a local vendor mixed with cheap CTC Assam from the Indian market. Add a little milk to that and it's a favorite Sunday morning treat for me. There, I've confessed my dirty little vice.

Right now on steep number three of 2004 Menghai Superior Grade from Puershop. Really excellent sheng!

Kirameki shincha and me enjoyed each other's company for 5 wonderful steeps. The 5th was really just sweet tea water, but sooo nice.

I received 2 shincha today...Shincha Tradtional and Shincha Fukamushi from hibiki. No openings today. Hashira is due to arrive tomorrow!!! Also due tomorrow is Farmer shincha and Super Premium shincha from Hibiki.

I've dabbled in blending my own chai, but mostly I blend dian hong, cut a higher grade with a lower grade, and what not.

Had some fukamushi tonight.

I blend Adagio peppermint and chamomile (foxtrot minus the rooibos) for a bedtime tea often. Maybe I'll try some sencha with peppermint once I finally purchase some.

Plenty of tea alchemy in my kitchen. :D At Christmas my local tea-loving friends always get a tin of one of my creations. The favorite was one made specifically for iced tea (good hot, though, too) with some summer darjeeling and a mild green along with lavender, mint, and rosebuds. I have just 1 blend on the adagio blends page: Flintridge Chai.
