Seems to be a flavored/scented Oolong day for some of us...

On my 2nd steep now of the Upton's Osmanthus Oolong. Very good stuff. Much more subtle than say, the Adagio Jasmine, it just hints of flowers and sweetness. 2nd steep is actually better than the first. I'll try one more and see what happens...

Enjoy the day!

Morrocan Mint again

by laran7 » Jun 15th, '08, 11:05

Morrocan mint for the day - I'll brew it this morning and put it in a bottle for all day

I first started bringing tea to work when I realized I didn't especially like the
taste of bottled waters. My son and his Dad are spending the day together.

You are forutnate Beidao! It's not likely I would happen upon that much good tea luck shopping for clothing! Enjoy -- find yourself a tea towel or something, though.

We are traveling today for Father's day. :?

The teas were Kokeicha and Green Darjeeling. I'll have some tea now. Don't know which one. All these decisions...

To borrow tenuki's line - Pics or it didn't happen.

Starting my day with a delish cup of LiShan from GeekGirl - This is from Tao of Tea and wow, it's very good. Thank you!!!

Quiet sunday here. The schoolyear is almost over and it was the time to put some order on my desk at home.
Houjicha, Darjeeling Risheehat SFTGFOP1 and Ippodo shincha so far today. Maybe a fifth tea after dinner.

Glad you like it! And also glad to know it's a decent tea... tells me I can quit buying it. I kept thinking "Maybe it's not a good one, maybe I'll like THIS one."

ROFL

Of course there will be pics! Just have to get some decent ones first. I would feel so ashamed if they were not as good as I can make 'em. Thanx Sal, GU and all the rest of you, you've made my self assurance as a photographer close to zero

I've had Kokeicha - strange, nice, but I can hardly tell it apart from Yerba Mate - and also Meishan Jinxuan. All I have to say about the latter one is: OMG

The taste lingered in my mouth for more than half and hour. Who needs drugs when there's this sort of tea??? I never knew tea could be THIS good. Have to go get me a fourth cup.

We aren't doing anything special for Father's Day. Dad got his gifts and he and Mom are taking the dog to her last day of training class. There probably won't be tea involved unless I am the one drinking it or if he decides to have some iced tea.

No teas yet today. I haven't been able to figure out what I want to drink yet. Maybe I will find something at the mall with the Teaosk.

Maybe I should put up a some pics from a couple years ago. You would not feel "close to zero" anymore.

Father's Day plans much of the day today, and I am having tea even if I am the only one having it.

Currently, my last session of Fukamushi Maki...a good morning Fukamushi since it has a nice astringent kick, but is nicely balanced. This is my 2nd fave fukamushi shincha this year so far. Fukamushi Supreme still reigns supreme.

HI, no special plans, just playing on the Wii (which is totally fun!)...just beat my husband at table tennis.

Had assam medley this morning, now having decaf chai....

I had 4 cups already this morning....turning into a good tea day!

Happy Father's Day!
