I had a soda for the first time this year yesterday, and I wondered, how many sodas have you consumed this year (based on 12 ounce soda)?

I have loved tea since I was little but always drank a lot of diet soda because it was more convenient than making tea. The last couple of years I have switched more to tea, mostly on the weekends, to break myself of the soda habit.

Now I bring a big bottle of tea with me to work in the morning and only drink one or two Diet Pepsi's in the afternoon if my caffeine level is lagging.

Oh, yeah, I'm with Reine today, Irish Breakfast this morning, and now at work, Ginger Peach, iced.

What vendor does your Buddha's Hand or Fo Shou varietal oolong come from? and what geographic area ... Wuyi, Taiwan or another place?

I drink a gallon of Sun Tea and roughly 84oz of soda a day. This does not even include my gongfu-ed tea. When I lay my head on my pillow at night this is what i look lik ---->

I bought this Fo Shou at Hou De and it's grown in Zhu Shan, Nan Tou, Taiwan. I like it quite a bit as it has a very rich roasted smooth flavor though it doesn't last nearly as many steepings as the lighter oolongs I've tried.

BTW I loved your post about packaging, great pics and writeup. :)

I probably have had less than 10 this year.
Definitely less than 20.
I do love the taste of Diet Pepsi and sometimes
Pizza just calls for Pepsi.

Starting my morning again with Nilgiri.

Have a nice day everyone!

Mmm, that sounds like the same offering that Hobbes reviewed in Febuary. You might enjoy his comments if you have not read then already.

TeaCuppa also has one that is from Fujian Province on the mainland that it not so roasted and lasts many infusions.

I think that just happens to be the one I had a couple of days ago
from the Oolong Box Pass. It was surprisingly good for a dark roast.

Yep, that's the one. Thanks for the link I enjoyed it nearly as much as the tea itself. :)

and TeaCuppa's Fo Shou is definitely going on my shopping list.

Yikes! Straight sugary soda or diet?

Last week I had a soda when there was nothing else at an event --bleh. It is a rarity for me to have one. Although there is a company that make a great blackberry soda without corn syrup, so tasty - but still a lot of sugar.

Started with my precious Yunnan Gold this morning - yum!

Mine is less than 10. Don't drink much soda anymore. Used to be a big Coke fan but my tastes changed during my last pregnancy & haven't liked it since. If I drink a soda, it's Sprite & usually only when eating pizza. There's just something about pizza that screams to be paired w/soda.

Had OBO#40 this morning w/bfast. Will have to see how the rest of my day goes to see if there's more tea in my future.

I am a huge fan of Fresca, its my number three beverage below tea and water. So I'll typically have one (or three) a day.

I used to be addicted to Diet Pepsi. Then I got married and my husband was addicted to Coke. I switched to Coke. I gained weight. I quit cold turkey about three years ago.

Now I drink water, tea and milk. About 99% of my liquid intake is one of those three things. Occasionally I'll have a beer (about 6-8 ounces is fine) or a summertime margarita but...water, tea and milk serve me fine.

Two cokes this year for me. One was a Dr. Pepper just last week. For some reason I was craving it. Drank the whole thing. The other one was about a month ago at Costco because their fountain water tastes awful, so I got a Diet Coke. I used to have about one a day but cokes have now been replaced by tea.

Uh, I don't remember what tea I had this morning. Something from Sarah and it was pretty good. But I was way too groggy to remember what I fixed. Hopefully I left it out on the counter so I'll know when I get home.

Kitty is doing much better today. I'm amazed. I felt for sure she wouldn't make it this long. But she's eating a lot (not quite as much as she should be eating, but that's okay) and has a bit more control over her back legs. She still looks like she's walking around tipsy, but she's not falling anymore, so that's good. I'm officially optimistic now. :D

Fewer than five. I'm not a soda drinker. Unless there's really nothing else to drink, in which case...

So glad to hear that your kitty-cat is doing better, auggy! I hope she continues to improve.
