Thanksgiving TeaDay 11/27/08 T is for Thanksgiving

by Chip » Nov 27th, '08, 01:41

Happy Thanksgiving TeaChatters!

... and welcome to TeaDay! Please share what is in your cup today!

Yesterday's topic was admittedly a bit challenging and the responses were quite interesting. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic will be lighter fare. Which "T" will be the most dominant in your Thanksgiving this year? Thankfulness, Togetherness, Turkey, Triptofan-zzz, Tea, Tv, Too much food, TeaChat?

Hope to see you sometime on TeaDay, bottoms up!

Too much food. Gonna be making Masala Chai Double Chocolate Fudge in the morning.

Nothing in my cup yet but that will change!

Thanksgiving Sencha

by Salsero » Nov 27th, '08, 02:22

"T" is for Sencha. What better holiday drink than a deep steamed sencha?

Togetherness...even though I have to work almost every holiday, having the family at home when I get there these special mornings make my day.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all too...

Sal, everytime you post that cup, I get a little bit closer to buying one. Bah. heehee.

TOGETHERNESS!!! My hubby's sister and her family are coming over here for dinner, I already made pies and cranberry sauce, tomorrow I'll make the potatoes. She's bringing the turkey, salad and rolls. Good times, good times.

Being a Brit there's no such holiday for me :( I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Right now I am currently in awe of the Bai Hao Oolong from Teaspring which I opened last night...6 mighty steeps and I still felt the tea had some more to give! Its such a wonderfully smooth tea and so easy to brew, I think some more needs to be had this morning!

Jack :D

I'm trying to relax, eat, and drink tea as much possible because starting 3am I have to be at work for 19 hours!

Black Friday is my most dreaded day of the year.

No thanksgiving where I live. Just an ordinary day which probably will be dominated by writing on my paper and relaxing with some tea and reflection.

Having Yunnan golden tips now

-EDIT-

Happy thanksgiving to all of you, hope you have a nice celebration.

Togetherness! I'm very blessed to have my parents fly out for this holiday.

Time to put the turkey in the oven....!

Oh, and gyokuro to start of the day...

Togetherness, definitely. We're doing a brunch at Mom's, then driving down to see my in-laws for dinner. Hmmm. Maybe I should have voted for too much food...

I'm about to fix some tea to take to Mom's. Haven't decided what kind yet, though. Maybe some Assam...
