We are a small group of tea planters from south India, holding a consolidated area of 20 acres. The present tea leaf prices are so low compare to the cost of production that we suffer a loss of Rs.3 per every kg produced. Since fresh tea leaves are perishable commodity, we often end up selling it at a price which is purely controlled by facorty and agent regime. Its been such a long time since the founders of this business have made a system best suited to their then interest, the government couldn't challenge or make radical changes to facilitate all those who are part of the entire chain. We are now looking at ways by which we can process tea within our estate by using cost effective techniques.
We welcome your valuable inputs, ideas, participation and recommendations in this mission.

Thank you my friend
I have submitted the form as directed by you. I am also exploring ways and means to produce other bi-products from tea leaves so as to create additional verticals. Please share your thoughts and ideas.

"Necessity is the mother of all inventions"
We have finally set-up our own hand made green tea processing unit, this energy efficient technology is invented by TGG Foundation (www.tggfct.org) , a CSR division of The Golden Greens. We produce Green Tea Flakes (mild variety, best for creating natural flavored green tea) , Orthodox using rolling method. (https://www.facebook.com/tggfct/photos/ ... 2766633569) . We also produce white tea, all at the green gardens which we have been maintaining organically since the last 5 years. We call it " an ethically produced tea".
We now seek your support in creating awareness of both the tea we produce and also the techniques which can benefit small tea growers across the globe.
Look forward to your valuable suggestions and recommendations.
With best regards
