I am new to the forum. My name is Ariel and I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but I live in NYC.
A family member has a large farm in the north-east of Argentina, with annual production of black tea of over 1M kilograms (1000 metric tons).
His local clients stopped buying lately because the economy is shrinking/ going down the sink.
I thought since he has enough volume, he could be a reliable vendor for a large US client, but it must be VERY hard to strike a deal with a large corp, particularly because we're not very strong at certifications.
Does anyone with biz expertise have any recommendations? I would like to take care of the trading myself, but I'm a total inexpert.
