Congratulations Alex on the new piece. Sorry to hear about your lost pieces though it's nice to have an excuse for new pieces.

Congratulations Chip on the new pieces. When I check out A.N. and peruse the recent additions to the kyusu lineup I often find myself wondering which of the "sold" pieces Chip bought.

Re: Ode to the Kyusu
My first kyusu! Legit? Came with a dollhouse teapot set. The other teapot was obviously a dollhouse teapot. But I guess so was this. $10.00 purchase. Approximately 40ml. Very awesome proportions/balance. Don't know anything Japanese, but this thing really stands out for its size. Any advice/comments would be great. What would you brew in this little thing? Is the red clay similar to hongni? Thanks!

It was a nice surprise. I suppose I owe a photo of it next to a quarter or something for size comparison?debunix wrote:It's got surprisingly 'normal' proportions for such a teeny pot. Adorable.

Re: Ode to the Kyusu
That kyusu is amazing helio. How does she/he brew? If you didnt let us know it was 40ml I would have thought it was a large pot from the way it looks! ![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Ode to the Kyusu
Looks like a quite useful pot. What counts is not if it's genuine, but does it brew well and make you happy to look at it?
